Ramblings
Not the greatest week ever.

Ughhhhhhhhhhhhh. I gained 2lbs :( Plus I’m sick right now.
I need to get motivated again. I feel so out of it.

My mood: BLAH

Lunch was DELICIOUS. Nomnomnom

-tilapia
-carrot
-yellow zucchini
-4 asparagus spears
-1tbsp of olive oil
-1/2tbsp of soy sauce
-pepper & pinch of seasoned salt

The rest of April is beast mode

I’m so close to being out of the 300’s (I weighed in again this morning & I’m 319!) Just 19 more pounds to go! I’m going to work extra hard in April to make sure May ends up being the last month I see anything above 300 on the scale.

Focused + Motivated

I’m officially obsessed with cute workout shoes.
I had lunch with my friends yesterday. They went to a taco place. Everyone had their Mexican food & I sat there with my (yummy) homemade salad. It made me realize that even in social situations, I don’t have to eat what everyone else is eating just to be a part of the group. Plus everyone was envying my salad saying it looked good, which it was of course. Lol.
Do yourself a favor & prepare your food ahead of time.

Weighed-In..

because I really just can’t help myself. Lol. I weigh 320! My last weigh-in on March 31st was 326 so I’ve lost 6lbs so far for April. I’ve lost 30lbs since 2/01/2012 & 60lbs total since my HW last summer.

320. I don’t know why this feels significant for me. Just 20 more pounds until I’m out of the 300’s. I remember stepping on the scale & being 20lbs away from weighing 400lbs. It was such a scary feeling. But now, I’m so much closer to where I want to be. I still have such a long way to go, but now I know I can do it. Nothing can stop me. Nothing will stop me. I feel so proud of myself which is something I haven’t been able to say in a long time.

I think my new weigh-in day will be Saturday morning. I need to stick to ONE day & ONE day only. Too much scale checking drives me nuts but I can’t help myself.

Nursing school is exhausting. 12 hour shifts on your feet all day are super tiring, but I’m happy thinking about all the calories I’m burning from running back & forth. Lol. My eating today was terrible. I only had around 600 calories for the whole day. I was too busy & I just don’t really feel too hungry, just thirsty and tired. I need to really make sure I’m getting adequate nutrition though because eating too few calories only slows down the process. I’m drinking A LOT of water though & my skin is doing amazing because of it! :)
